Does a cert have to carry credits to have value? Does it even have to come from a college?

When you're an entrepreneur, what is the value of a formal degree? The value comes from the knowledge that you acquire. Does it matter if that includes a RA or NA piece of paper? That's obviously a personal question dependent upon your specific situation and professional needs. But I believe that for many entrepreneurs it probably isn't really a factor at all.

Considerable, if it enables you to charge more for (and/or sell more of) your service/product. Otherwise... YMMV.
