Has anyone had any experience with this program? Any experience with Penn State World Campus? Are the course platforms similar to Blackboard? I've been accepted and begin in August! Back to school after almost a three year break... I must be insane.
I was not in that program, but I did the BSc Business program at WC in 2014-2015. I really enjoyed it. It was relatively inexpensive and the software then, Angel, worked fine, similar to Blackboard or Seaport, but it has since been upgraded, so I do not know how it is now. Instructors were all responsive and competent, lots of decent team projects and not much busy work. I have been using everything I learned there in my small manufacturing business. 3 years is nothing, I went back after 20 and did 59 units in 2 semesters plus summer. Approvals for overloading is easy and saved me a bundle not having to do a 4th term. Good luck!
I've heard good things about Penn State's program - but it's expensive. An alternative to Penn State would be the University of Nebraska program. It's also fully online and from a major school in the Big 10. But their program is also 12 hours (four classes), but costs $425 per hour less ($5,100 cheaper). Being a Cornhusker isn't so bad for that price point! Supply Chain Management Systems | Office of Graduate Studies | University of Nebraska–Lincoln
