I spent years working in hospitality and almost made a career of it until I got sick of the long hours and unpredictable schedules. If I were looking to return to the field and wanted a credential to bolster my credibility, I'd pick Cornell's Master Certificate in Hospitality Management over any graduate degree: https://www.ecornell.com/certificates/hospitality-and-foodservice-management/

Hospitality is an anomaly in that the industry, by and large, doesn't care about graduate degrees at all. They like experience, internships, and industry-specific certifications. A graduate degree in hospitality will be an enormous waste of time and money for most folks.

Side-note: Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled to see more and more hospitality programs offered online. I just don't think graduate degrees are filling any large void.
