Felician University: Self-paced except for a stats class that requires a residency Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) | Graduate Doctor of Business Administration Programs in NJ Although it's not exactly cheap: 70 credits x $885 = $61,950 Disclaimer: I'm providing this for informational purposes only. I'm not affiliated with, um, "FU" in any way.
NCU, Walden and Capella's DBA is more expensive. Felician is not exactly prestigious either but might be a step up from the previous mentioned ones at a lower price.
I haven't seen anything cheaper in the US, British and Australian Schools are around that price range. The only thing cheaper in the English world that I have seen is India and South Africa. I believe Empresarial in Costa Rica and Azteca in Mexico can be completed in English and the price range is around 10K but their utility for an academic position in the US is limited although I have seen few people as adjuncts with Empresarial degrees.
One thing I'm curious about is the religious affiliation. We've seen people deliberately choose schools like Liberty because of the religious affiliation while other might choose the same school say "I don't really care about the religious aspect . . ." Is that a factor with Felician? Might someone choose this school over another due to their religious affiliation?
Oracle University also offers DBA on self-pace, and cheaper too... hahaha IT Training and Certification for Oracle Technology | Oracle University
Here's an interesting one: Heriot Watt Univ DBA for roughly $25 Grand or less... I don't think I will ever go for anything higher than a Masters, but wondered about it. https://www.hw.ac.uk/postgraduate/doctor-business-administration.htm https://www.ebsglobal.net/programmes/dba https://www.ebsglobal.net/study-with-us/fees#_
The DBA at California Southern University Online Education | Online Education Degree - California Southern University currently costs $395/credit hour (down from $450/credit hour). The DBA requires 60 credit hours and accepts up to 30 credit hours in transfer (i.e. MBA, MS Accounting/Management, etc.). The school is totally online, and regionally accredited by WASC. However it does not appear to have any business school accreditations (AASCB, etc.). But the degree's total cost is about $12K with 30 credits transferred into the DBA program up to $24K for the entire 60 credits. Not a bad deal. The DBA seems to focus on Management after reviewing the course titles.
Nice one Steve. I saw what you did there. Any utterly ridiculous texts to back it up too? You Sir are a true Netizen.
Can anyone confirm the price drop and the need for only 30 credits when you transfer in 30 mba credits?
If you read the web site, it says 60 credits on top of an MBA. You could transfer 30 credits but my assumption is that is for people that come from another DBA program. It is still cheap compared to the other RA programs discussed here. The school is a pure virtual university with no ranking but it is RA accredited, good enough for those looking for a credible doctorate.
Please read below: DBA - Getting Started | California Southern University "The courses must be doctoral level courses completed with a grade of B or better" So no, you cannot come with an MBA pay 12K and get the DBA in 1 year and half.
shhhesh! That's one hefty price tag. Well, I don't have the discipline to do a doctorate anyway. I think I am just to lazy.
