Following the 2014 QS ranking, Top 5 universities in Europe are as follows: University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University of Oxford, UCL (University College London), ETH Zurich – Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. But again, you should tell us what field of study you are interested in?!

Have a look at this link, it might help you: QS World University Rankings® 2014/15 | Top Universities

As I am looking for an MBA I happened to come across this website : Online Education & Accredited Degree Programs | WorldWideLearn.com which has a lot of useful info but is specific to the USA. And thanks for the list Tekman. Do you know by any chance if any of those schools offer masters specialized in marketing (vs. finance)? I'll just go through the list and give them a look anyways... Thanks!

That's a bigger question than "can someone suggest a good college in the USA?"

    Thank you for the ranking,
Yes, an english speaking country seems more appropriate however, if any other good university in germany or else... I could think twice!

Thank you very much for this accredited european universities list. Is ACBSP a major accreditation recognized worldwide? what are the main other accreditations I should look for?

Thanks everybody for the many answers.

I have to admit I wasn't clear enough... To sum up my situation, I am currently searching for an accredited european university for my bachelor. Preferred fields are Management & Business with classes taught in English. UK seems to be my number one choice, however, I would totally consider going in some other countries like Germany or else if the school is good enough.

Thank you Major56, I have already heard about this school before and everybody seems to agree on the fact that this school is considered as one of the best. However, do you know what are the accreditations for this school?! Waiting to hear from you. Best,

If you read through their website then you'll know as much as I do about them.

I know I shouldn't ask for such a question but first, after looking at the website I wasn't able to find the list of accreditations and second, I don't exactly know which ones are state recognized and which ones are not.

Thank you very much in advance,

Maybe these Open University links will be of assistance in answering your questions (re accreditation: Institutional (US Regional and UK Royal Charter), Programmatic (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS) and The Open Business School rankings)):

    Hello Major56,

Again, thank you very much for all of the information given on the school. It definitely feels like a really interesting school indeed! I might most probably prepare an application to send their way.

However, I am always keen on getting other tips on different schools since I am not convinced I'll accepted either and I can't stick to one application only.

Wishing you a very good day.
    Sincerely,
