I am considering getting an MBA from Northcentral University in AZ and was wondering if someone could provide some information about the program.

Is the MBA program based solely on projects and papers? From everything I have read and heard, it sounds like there are no exams and all grades are based on assignments.

How many hours per week should I expect to spend on an 8-week NCU course?

    Any recommendations?

Thank you. I have read quite a few of the posts on DegreeInfo about Northcentral University. It is due to the great information on this site that I joined the forum.

Since we're into it, I'm interested in know how you came to focus on Northcentral. What made it stand out for you compared to the dozens of other choices?

It seems the for an MBA program with written assignment and projects instead of intensive exams. I don't like to take the exams neither, but there are much better schools offer the same price tag. If you are looking for the same option with cheaper price take a look at Western Governors University, Patten University's MBA's.

Northcentral University's MBA for tuition, textbooks, and fees: $24,640.00 (Tuition is increasing yearly)

Also, University of Illinois at Urbana Chapaingn offers MBA for $20,000.00.

I am interested in Northcentral University for a few different reasons. To begin with, I do not like exams. Also, I started my MBA at a nationally accredited school, Columbia Southern University, and Northcentral University accepts transfer credits from nationally accredited schools. I actually really like CSU, but a regionally accredited degree would be more beneficial. NCU also has a relatively short MBA program (only 30 credit hours).

I have looked into Western Governors University a little bit. Isn't their entire program based on exams? Also, I do not like the idea of pass/fail classes. It is not that I have anything against a pass/fail system, but I am not sure how it would be viewed by employers.

I am open to other schools that are regionally accredited, accept transfer credit from nationally accredited schools, and do not have a lot of exams.

Good looking program and I like the price. But I'm not sure where you got the idea that they accept transfer credits from Columbia Southern.

They state that you need to have an RA bachelors to get into the program but I haven't seen anything about transfer credits but I would be rather surprised if an AACSB accredited business school accepted transfer credits from a DEAC accredited school.

My apologies. I confused the school you listed with a Georgia Web MBA school which comprises of Columbus State university and Georgia Southern among others. All of which are AACSB thus their credits will transfer.
