Seems like there are a number of schools around $2,500 or so. Is this a new trend and is India making a play for the online space? Or have they been around a while at this price and I just never noticed?

The cheapest in the US seems to be new Charter at $3,948? if you do it in one year (good luck). Any other under $4k anywhere?

The latter. They can do it because the cost of labor is very low there -- you can hire a business school lecturer full time there for amounts so low that American adjunct instructors look like emperors by comparison.

Agree. These prices were normal for B&M programs as well as distance education (read "Correspondence/Independent study"). They are just launching the online versions now.
Also, the fee structures used to be vastly different for citizens vs. international students (for the B&M programs). I am happy that I am not seeing such great difference in these online programs.
