Hi Guys I just found this site and was looking at others degree plans for practically testing out of a bachelors degree. I believe I read that TESC does not award grades for the test though which makes me nervous about being able to get into a top flight MBA program. Does anyone on here have a BSBA from TESC and went on to get their Masters at a well know University?

    Thanks in advance

    Any help would be great

I only ask because there would be no GPA. I have the same worries about WGU. Would I be able to get into the online programs at Kelley or UNC? If not what about ASU or Thunderbird? Fox at Temple is also an interesting option for me because I live relatively close to Philadelphia. I left college a few years back because of family circumstances and I am trying to get my education back on track.

My old major was Engineering at PSU but I found a love for business/management especially logistics while I went on hiatus. I have now worked myself into a Supervisor positon with a great company and am told I have true potential. I was hoping someone on here could give me some advice to help me get jumpstarted.

Please any advice would be appreciated

    Thanks!

I tested out of my degree at TESC but my transcript included transferred classes from other colleges and universities. So, when I applied to GW I simply drafted a memorandum explaining that TESC doesn't grant a GPA but my cumulative GPA from all undergrad work was 3.69 - and of course, all my transfer school transcripts validated this.

If you're COMPLETELY testing out and not transferring any graded classes into your BSBA, I'd recommend taking at least one or two classes through TESC to get a GPA. Remember, b-school rankings are in part based on student undergrad GPAs, so I think not having one could only hurt you. To me it's worth the cost and time of at least one class to get a UG GPA.
