    Hello,

I'm looking into an MBA program and this school caught my interest. Regionally accredited and tied to some major international partner universities and personalities like Bill Clinton. In this age of diversity, the name of this school could really put you in a position to succeed. Also, I called the dean of business this past week and AACSP accreditation is in their 5 year plan for the school. Free application as well. Anyway, I want someone else's feedback before I jump on it. Let me know how you feel.

I've heard of it, but I don't know much about it. They were advertising on San Antonio radio stations last year. Our population is about 2/3 Hispanic. Is this the only college in the U.S. named after an ethnic group? I'm guessing there might be some other colleges with Native American or American Indian in their names.

It's owned by Laureate, the same people as Walden. Also, I wonder whether employers might mistakenly think that the name means that Spanish is the language of instruction.

Tbe two best-known business school accreditation agencies in the US are AACSB and ACBSP.

"AACSP" sounds like a hybrid of the two. Probably what is meant here is ACBSP.
ACBSP currently accredits Walden University, which is under the same ownership as National Hispanic University, as noted above.

No. For example, there is "Hellenic College" in Massachusetts, which is regionally accredited. "Hellenic" means "Greek", and that is clearly their orientation.

Another RA example: "American Jewish University" in southern California.

I found the Native American ones.

    Haskell Indian Nations University
    Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute
    Navajo Technical College
    Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College

There are a bunch of others named after Native American tribes.

What was the name of the college where Capella Rocks aka Shawn Ambrose used to teach before completing his doctorate?

I think it was Lac Courte Oreilles* Ojibwa Community College, Ted. It's here: Home

    * It means "Lake Short Ears."
