    Hi,

I would like to work in management for an international corporation. Now I am business owner.

I have the following questions, I plan to do a MBA and then a DBA.

    1. I would like to take a distance learning diploma in management and then start the TOP UP MBA. What do you think about it?Can you suggest me the best (price, quality, assignment) Level 7 Diploma? I heard about CMI, ACCA,AGB,etc.

    2. After completing my MBA, would you suggest me to start a MPhil or directly the DBA?Which one do you think can be the best way to earn a doctorate program in a short time?

    Best Regards,
    s.

    Hi there,

I used this route for a M.Sc in Accounting and Finance. It depends a lot on your previous background but the Association of International Accountants is quite generous for exemptions so you can finish an Accounting diploma with them quite fast and then use it for a top up MBA or M.Sc in Accounting. The AIA qualification is a the 7 level.

ACCA is good too but it is not so generous for exemptions but you can finish with them a B.Sc in Accounting if you finish their accounting and business advanced diploma.
You would need to finish the full certification for exemptions at the M.Sc level.

Some top up MBAs are willing to take you if you already have an MBA from accredited school. I don't know if it would work but you can get a cheap but not so recognized MBA from Aspen University and then try to top it up with an MBA from a good British school, Aspen is DETC accredited but it is always possible that the British school might take it. If a DETC degree doesn't work you can try an MBA from a cheap school in India or Malaysia and the try to top it up.

British schools are very flexible, top up programs in my experience can be open to many qualifications at the 7 level in their system including foreign qualifications.

ABE qualifications are also a good option and quite affordable.
