I like Emporia State but having two marketers making their first post on this forum a plug for their program is not needed.

    Talk across the office, guys.

Indeed! I was wondering which school would be the first to offer such a program. Now we can all (finally) earn an online MBA.

The price is excellent! Is that for out-of-state, too?

Also, I noticed that Emporia State is starting an online master's degree in accounting starting in 2014. Will it have a similar price?

Three threads on this in less than 24 hours is two too many.

Prices like that are a steal. It can't last. Once the school figures that out, the online tuition should rise significantly. But until then, hop onboard!

    Hi All,

Can you tell we started our marketing campaign... lol! I personally wanted to post on degree info, since it has a special place in my heart as I have been a member for a decade as I was looking for my MBA, then DBA at Grenoble, though the Dean is not the recruitment group here, so my fault on the redundancy. Yes, we are working out the details now. So, to answer the questions - yes, the accounting masters degree has the identical cost. Again, happy to be back on DI.

Our out of state tuition is different, but we have several different programs with neighboring states. You can see tuition programs at Financial Assistance - Graduate School | Emporia State University but feel free to email me at [email protected] with your location and I can get you a more accurate number!

It is probably the most inexpensive 100% online AACSB MBA on the market right now. Are there any other 100% online AACSB MBAs in existence (as of today)?

I can remember the days when posters said that it was impossible for an AACSB MBA to be 100% online -- and yet this thread demonstrates that it can be done. Online RA degrees with programmatic accreditation are definitely the wave of the future -- and the future is now.

I'm finishing up a 100% online RA MPA (from AMU) and am hoping that it will gain programmatic NASPAA accreditation in the future. They keep talking about it and the public administration chair (or dean?) is going to another NASPAA conference this October.

My experience at Emporia State University!

Hello everyone, this is SmartHornet and I would like to talk about my experience with Emporia State University. I graduated from Emporia State University with a degree in B.S. in Business, I majored in Management. I was a non-traditional student working 30 hours a week, while I took 6 classes at a time, I had a lot riding on the decisions I made along the way. One of the most important decisions was choosing the right school. Fortunately, I enrolled at ESU to complete my degree.

Emporia State University fulfilled all of the criteria I had for selecting a school. They had small class sizes, which was very important to me because I wanted a learning environment that provided opportunities to build relationships and share experiences with the faculty as well as with my peers. My experience as a student at ESU surpassed all of my expectations. Working on teams allowed students to maximize strengths and learn from each other along the way. The faculty at ESU’s School of Business was very supportive and they constantly encouraged me. This helped me to believe in myself and develop the confidence in my new found skills.

I wanted the school I chose to provide opportunities to network and build professional relationships with working professionals in the area. Again, ESU surpassed my expectations. Many of the teachers work with our community to help and support the business in Emporia. There are even times when our class was able to work with business and create a SWOT analysis of their company. We then presented it to them in a conference room. It was a great experience for us. I had the good fortune to establish relationships with professors and instructors who guided my education and whom I still call when I have a question. ESU is more than a place to receive an education, but it is a place where we can create strong and everlasting professional relationships.

Yep, there are plenty of them. My first post in this thread was meant to be sarcastic.
