Do you think that it is VFM this program?

    It costs 225 BP.

Has anyone got more information about the accreditation of the Business School?

It is a complete monster! Just read its "accreditation" page -- at least two clinkers including IAO.

Eton University claims to be American-registered. That's likely true - and so they won't go to jail for issuing British degrees!

It is also "recognized" by the infamous "California University" CUFCE - a non-recognized degree evaluator and babysitting service (sic) much written-up in all the fora. It specializes in taking in mostly-bad foreign degrees and issuing unrecognized U.S. "Equivalency diplomas" - which are degree-looking papers from its captive mill, "California University." Eton University is also "recognized" by Oxford Institute of Managers and Cambridge Institute of Management. Do a search, if you like. Neither association has any relationship with Oxford or Cambridge universities - or any power to authorize degree granting.

See this awful page: Eton University

It doesn't get much worse. Our esteemed mill-expert, Dr. John Bear, could write a book on this place -- or maybe he already has!

Definitely not VFM, as you put it, Calvin. (Value for Money)
More like RFYL. (Run for your life!)

"Eton University is a global institution incorporated in America. The registered number of Eton University is IBC No. 98,846."

IBC=International Business Corporation. With a $300 computer, a $15 /month hosting service and an IBC certificate, you too can own a University. You can print up a nice diploma for yourself and sell the rest!

Regardless of the institution I've never liked the label "mini-MBA." It's a cert. Nothing more.

Agreed. It's like saying "mini-degree." There's no such thing --well, none advertised as such, anyway.

Just a tip, Rich - you don't even need the IBC certificate - just icing on the cake. Let me know when I can sign up. I want a dual major - Legendaryism and Awesomeness. I'm pre-qualified. Oh yes - and that will be a Doctorate, if you please!

Sorry, Lawrence. Wish it was. Then we could have something really nice to say, about an excellent school in N.C. I think this Eton outfit under discussion likely purloined its name from the famous Eton Public (that's Brit-speak for Private) School.

Only other Elon I've heard of, besides the University, is Elon Musk (SpaceX, Tesla Motors). No connection, but what a brilliant guy! He's originally from South Africa.

I read some more. Dunno why. "Eton University" says its DL headquarters are in NYC - gives an address. Likely there is a mailbox there.

They offer several Masters programs at $90 - $100 a credit-hour. MBA, MSc. Management etc. Yeah, right. We know what one of their programs will do for us!

To sum up, Calvin - getting a certificate from a prestigious school is just like your forum-name, Calvin Klein.

You have to pay a very high price for the label!
