I am in the last leg of classes to receive my MBA. In about three weeks. I will be done. I was recently told that I could attain an MHA or MHCM as well by only taking 1-3 semesters of classes since my MBA will have all the core classes already taken. I have been unable to finday information on this subject. Can anyone offer any information on the subject? My career goals include hospital administration and would love to continue my education. The only drawback is that the school I currently attend does not offer an MHA or MHCA.

    Thank you

Not sure I fully understand the question. Who was it that told you you would only need a handful of additional classes? Problem is that most Masters programs don't accept too many transfer credits. Where do you hope to do this?

I wonder if a Health Care Graduate Certificate would work for you (to go along with the MBA)? I can tell you that the Hospital I work for is primarily run by folks with a regular MBA.

APU/AMU or Amberton might have something for you and they both accept around 12 hours in transfer...no idea if they have what you are looking for.
