Hello, folks. I'm a new participant on this forum, but have been observing for a while, and appreciate the insight of the community members.

I'm a mid-career (42 :sigh:) Financial professional at a large firm in Canada. The firm I'm at has a generous tuition payment program which could pay for an MBA around the cost level of the UMass Amherst- Isenberg program. That program appears to be both moderate cost and held in reasonably high regard.

I'm not new to distance education; I have a couple of professional designations earned outside the traditional classroom, and hold an MSc from the University of London.

I'd like to hear from graduates of the Isenberg program, or others who have gone through a similar program well into their career.

Did you find the MBA curriculum to be useful in your existing day to day role? Did it facilitate a more senior position or new career path? Did it break you out of a narrower line of thinking and change how you have been perceived by colleagues?

Please chime in on the above. I'm thinking of taking the plunge, and all that entails.

    Thanks in advance.
