Question Recommendations for Bachelors in Business related field

    Hi All,

I'm new here and was just looking for some advice from all of your pros. I will (finally!) be graduating with my Business Management Associate of Business Administration from the local CC (Macomb Community College.) My plan is to go onto my Bachelors degree in a Business related field. I was thinking Business Management and/or Human Resources .

I have found through my local CC that I LOVE online courses and really dislike attending B&M courses. Does anyone have suggestions on well rounded, accredited, online programs that are not too expensive? Ideally, I would like to transfer as many credits from my Associates degree over to earn the Bachelors quicker.

    Thanks in advance!
    DF

Welcome to the board and congrats on graduating. There are plenty of good options out there and I would suggest you start with looking at a local state school to see if they have an online program. There are a few affordable schools that come to mind such as:
    Troy, Fort Hays, and Amberton

Thanks so much! I have been looking at local state colleges here in Michigan, but it seems most of our public universities are behind the times and don't offer full programs online. Some private schools such as Baker (Baker .edu) do have online programs, but I want to make sure that I do my diligence and have all of the possible options researched, before making a final decision. This discussion forum seems to be a wealth of knowledge and full of people who have experiences with multiple on-line programs.

    Thanks for the suggestions. :)

I would suggest you to stay in the General Business, which is much easier to maneuver around the field. The University of Wyoming offers Bachelor in Business Administration, the program is cheap and AACSB accredited .

Also, when you're doing distance learning; ensure to stay with the school that has B&M campus, and closer to where you live as possible.

    Thumbs up Thank you!

Thank you all so much for your suggestions and help! Some how, I never saw many of these options, even through in-state colleges in my area. I'll definitely be looking into all of these to weigh my options.

    Thanks again,
    DF

All good ideas, I particularly like the U of Wyoming option....that's an interesting program! You might also consider Eastern New Mexico University online option Online Business Administration

The other option would be a test out degree from Thomas Edison State College, essentially take CLEP and DSST exams to meet the requirements http://www.tesc.edu/1865.php . It might be the fastest option.....but I would explore everything and find your own best choice.
