With many MBA students on this board, do you guys know of any "currently active" MBA forum, where students could share ideas, thoughts, knowledge and general gripes about their degree? I found a couple, but they are dormant or totally abandonned. Take care
I noticed you are attending National University. How do you like the MBA program? Is the program AASCB? What's the cost per credit. How are they with Military TA or the GI BILL? I'm thinking of staying with UMUC, but I'm still exploring other options... Thanks, k
It is IACBE-accredited. My marketing professor for this month tells me that they are pursuing the AACSB accreditation. They are rather military-friendly, in that they understand about deployements and field training. In every class I took, I had at least 3-4 active duty sailors/marines with me, even in the MBA classes. It's about $1050/class for undergrad, and about $1175/class for grad classes, but AD/RC military, vets and contractors can take whatever class in the local bases for 50% off. They have a VA dept for TA and GI Bill questions and billing. I pay $580/class for my MBA at the MCRD. Online classes are charged at the regular rate. Books can be purchased with MBS Direct (I don't recommend), or through any discount site (amazon, buy, half.com...I buy from Amazon) They employ a lot of adjunct faculty, and have a good amount of full-time faculty. They all seem knowledgeable about their field, with varying degrees of success in teaching their course though. If you need any more info, let me know. What branch are you?
Blog That May Be Of Interest to SnafuRacer SnafuRacer I started a blog (MyeEMBA) that is designed for MBA students to "share ideas, thoughts, knowledge and general gripes about their degree," however, I am a little less interested in the "griping." On the other hand there is the possibility for constructive griping." Rodney Founder MyeEMBA.com
