I need some help in comparing my qualification:

I have just applied for a job with a new employer, they have advised me that I have the job IF I can show that my ND in Civil Engineering (obtained in SA in 1993) is equivalent to a NHD in Civil Engineering from the United Kingdom. I don't have a clue whether it is, so I am going out on a limb here. Can anyone give me some good news or am I out of luck.

Is this MSc Recognized in India?
What is the scope of doing this degree
The degree is awarded by whom? Does it specifically mention it is part time or distance education?
Is there any alternate university in UK which offers thiscourse to be done part time or distance education.

Please help me with these queries ...
