Fort Hays State University in Kansas offers a totally non-resident Master of Liberal Studies degree that has many available concentrations and is exceptionally inexpensive.

One of the best collection of "legal & legitamite" schools of low tuition is at Master's Degrees by Dl.

In general the lowest cost are from South Africa, followed by Australia, Uk and US in that order.

Not knowing what concerntrations for which you are looking, I am "attending" [California College for Health Sciences . The cost is $399 per course and CCHS allows one to pay per course. Monthly payments are around $60.00. CCCHS is DETC accredited.

Do you prefer a masters degree in a particular subject?

My suggestion is California State University at Dominguez Hills. Their external humanities program costs $170/unit x 30 units = $5,100 (US dollars).

You have up to five years to complete it and you pay for classes individually as you take them. That means that you could get away with an average of $1,020/year tuition if you aren't in a hurry.

I'm a graduate of this and I liked it.
