Rich, Since you have done so much work in these areas I am wondering what you have found to be the state with the most stringent and least stringent guidelines for state approval/licensure. If you list Alabama is least stringent I won't feel offended, ha! Thanks.
Most stringent would be states that do not allow unaccredited schools. Least stringent would be a question that only the degree mill owners need to know.
Agreed. Many states don't allow unaccredited schools to operate. Many states allow degree mills to operate. The internet is making this moot, however. Schools no longer need to operate from a physical location in the U.S.
I understand this, Rich, but I am talking about state licensed/approved schools like CCU and others, that are not accredited and not considered degree mills by many. Of these type of schools which states have the least and most stringent rules? California has been made fun of for as long as I can remember regarding degrees by correspondence, external study, etc. I am just wondering if their rules are some of the toughest in the nation or not and if other states are more or less stringent than CA's, that's all. I mean "You da man," when it comes to knowledge on these matters.
