Fake degree news from Indiana

    Thanks for the link. The following is quoted from the last paragraph:

    "Some states are starting to take action against fake degrees. Just this week, Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich signed two such bills into law. One makes it illegal to make fake degrees for profit. The other makes it illegal to use fake degrees to get a job or a raise" Source: http://www.wthitv.com/newsdet.asp?id=3385



    Is this action similar to the Oregon law?

    What is the definition of 'fake'

    This is the main question. Unaccredited? State Licensed? Replica? Company called a university?

    The legislation will fail so long as it does not address these fundamental issues.
