I thought this was interesting. Seems that this therapist claimed his doctorate was from California Coast U. However, that appears to be untrue as stated by the University registrar ....facing fines and investigations related to his practice. ...things have changed in Florida... (don't you dare falsely claim graduate status from a CA Approved school). http://neuroticia.net/sdogs_r_great/sd1/images/More/informationB.html
Training sexual surrogates, now there's a career opportunity. Brings new meaning to a hard day at the office. Why dooes anyone need a sexual surrogate. Do like everybody else - lie to them and buy them dinner.
That's a new one on me....falsely claiming a degree from an unaccredited school. If you're going to take the chance of lying about your credentials, why not Harvard or Yale? Bruce
Harvard and Yale are too obvious. CCU doesn't have the same name recognition, and should draw less notice. I believe he probably decided to make a false claim that might not draw much scrutiny. My guess!!!
Okay, maybe the Ivies are a little too obvious, but how about generic Podunk State University? I just don't see the point of falsely claiming a degree from an unaccredited school. Bruce
I admit that it is illogical to fabricate a claim to an unaccredited school but I've seen it done before. One Ph.D. fraud once claimed that he had earned his Ph.D. from AICS (IIRC it was AICS, now ACICS though) before they were accredited. His lie was easily exposed without even contacting the school because they have never even offered Ph.D.s. Another fellow though was so convinced that it must be true (because why would anyone lie about that!) he contacted AICS and tried arguing about it with the registrar. So in that case the lie worked really well until I spoiled it when I informed that guy that AICS didn't even have a Ph.D. program.
always with the "un" word ...such a negative view ... he apparently aspired to graduate from a State Approved school, thousands of people do you know ...but then again, maybe it was his low self esteem and a general lack of funding that launched his foray into fantasy... guess we'll never know...
... Bruce... you mustn't jump at these things, it had a high tongue-in-cheek quotient... Besides, referring to CA approved schools as "unaccredited" is like telling a European he's unAmerican.
