Unbelivebable

    So presumably we have a state that, like California, does not regulate or fret about schools run from within their borders, as long as there is a license or registration from somewhere else.



    You would think all the new laws and regs that NY is passing these days they would want to place more regualtions on Mills. They have all these regualtions and laws regarding Charteran and licences and such, but nothing for Degree Mills. It's just amazing...

    However, we do not seem to find degree mills in NY state. When I try to think of one there are not any that come to mind. Maybe you would care to share some examples where degree mills are a problem in NY state.

    I think Dr. Gina is referring to another thread in which Dr. Bear listed Adam Smith University & Mellen University as being run from within NY State. I believe he said that NY seemed to ignore them because they has licenses from other states.

    Dr Bear did mention it in another thread. So the degree mills don't show up with NY addressess, thereby keeping the land of the Mets free from obvious degree mill tarnish. (This post was really intended to be a back handed insult to the evil Yankees.:))
