Fairfax University

I did a search on this board and saw that the last "word" on Faifax was a request for Dr. Bear to offer his words of wisdom on the advisability of taking a Fairfax degree. I did not notice a response, and I'm curious, too.

For the record, I am not interested in seeking a Fairfax degree, but I am truly curious about FU: are they a sincere attempt at alternative approaches to post-secondary education, or are they just another bad non-RA choice?

BTW, I posted a similar thread on the distancedegree.net that did not generate any responses. Is there anyone out there with first hand knowledge about FU? Are they respected by the academic community, or are they off the radar? How about you, Dr. Bear... any new info to pass along?
