Accreditation Council for Engaged and Entrepreneurial Universities (ACEEU)

Another alternative accreditor. Doesn't look like ACI-style BS at first glance, but I didn't look all that closely. It's interesting that a number of these are rising up.

The org. has a German address and the owner appears to have marketing cred. and an interest in how marketing can apply to universities. I don't know anything else about him or his enterprises - other than this: His own degrees appear to be "real," from well-regarded European schools. Definitely not "ACI-style B.S.," Steve. If it contains any B.S., (maybe, maybe not - I don't know yet) then it's of a much higher quality than ACI puts out.

Here's another site he maintains: S2B | Home

Correction: I think it's a given - all Internet sites, regardless of how legit. or prestigious they are - contain some B.S. Doesn't make them all bad. Usually a matter of:

    (1) Truth-to-B.S. ratio
    (2) Quality (i.e. believability) of B.S.
