I was looking at a Federal job and it said this on USAJOBS.gov.

National, Regional, and Specialized accreditation all seem to be OK. Just be on the official DOE list!:yup:

PLEASE NOTE: Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to qualify for Federal employment.
Applicants can verify accreditation at the following websites:
    https://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/

    https://www2.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/index.html

If you are using foreign education to meet qualification requirements, you must send a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript in order to receive credit for that education.

USAJobs.gov consolidates DoD & Federal jobs. As far as what degree, or lack thereof, they will accept for specific job, depends on the position.

That's basically the deal with Government/Military. Education and Healthcare are where you'll find the biggest deal made over accreditation type.

On a side/related note, if you decide to apply for the job, do so knowing that you may be waiting over a year before actually starting the job. The federal application, interview, and screening process is REALLY long. Just something to keep in mind.

And now that DEERS/RAPIDS is down... it might take even longer!
