    Hello,
My daughter found a school she'd like to attend in England that has a psych program she's interested in. What is the Regional Accreditation Equivalent over there? I can't find anything on their site that mentions accreditation. It's UWE, the University of the West of England.
    Thank you.

The University of the West of England, in Bristol, received it's Royal Charter in 1992, so it is what is referred to as a recognised body, that is a legitimate, degree awarding UK university, i.e. the equivalent of US universities with regional accreditation.

It is a legit institution, and also funded by the Government. So, it is solid school just like University of London, Oxford University, and etc.

"1853 - Establishment of the Bristol School of Practical Art, which became part of the Royal West of England Academy when it was granted its royal charter by Edward VII."

Mate, UWE was called Bristol Polytechnic from 1969 to 1992 when, under the Further and Higher Education Act of 1992, it became a university under the name of the University of the West of England. Parts of what was The Royal West of England Academy merged with Bristol Polytechnic in 1970 and is now known as the Department of Creative Industries.
