    The linked article is posted at the website of California Southern University. California Southern is accredited by DETC, so it's understandable that they would want to promote "The Value of a DETC-Accredited Degree".

    California Southern posted that article in 2011. But one year later, in 2012, California Southern announced that it was applying for regional accreditation:
