DETC accredited and priced pretty low...if a DETC degree meets your needs, why not?

Using the site's search engine will turn up a bunch of threads/posts on CSU. As a group they more or less reflect what nosborne said.

Columbia Southern is one of the largest and most successful DETC schools. If you are comfortable with a DETC degree, then Columbia Southern seems like one of the safest choices. But it might be worth checking out inexpensive regionally accredited schools, like the Big Three or Western Governor's, for comparison.

Columbia Southern University is relatively cheap, but it's not that cheap. There are RA options that offer tuition rates close to that of CSU's.

I agree, for example their MBA program tuition costs about $9,000.00 to $10,000.00. While Eastern New Mexico State University offers an MBA for about $5,000.00 to $6,000.00

I went there and my experience was okay, I was not very trill with the format at the time I was pursuing my Masters in Finance, they have very little resources for this specialization(faculties etc..), for other programs like criminal justice and fire they had lot of resources, since their biggest students body came from government agencies. They were implementing many changes which make them a bit chaotic in their process. They are tittle IV school. Would I do it again? Nope. As others have mention you are better off doing a RA degree since they are about the same price range. My degree cost me around $5000 because I was able to transfer half the required credits.

My guess, if detc will suffice, then there will be an available RA institution that will meet your needs. It is only in a few situations where an RA institution is not available. Detc may have a limiting effect on your career and educational advancement.

Does anyone know hat ever happened to Jamie Gautier? He's an alum of Columbia Southern.

I believe he has been busy raising kids and rising through the ranks of law enforcement. His degree from CSU has served him VERY well.

Yeah, but became very conflicted about it because was a DETC accredited degree, when all over the internet seeking opinions and approval for that degree. He became even a shill for CSU at one time. Since this conflicting him very much, went for a RA degree. Finally, he was (is) also an instructor at CSU and other colleges.
