"Florida’s lieutenant governor resigned and nearly 60 other people were charged in a scandal involving a purported veterans charity that authorities said Wednesday was a front for a $300 million gambling operation." --Washington Post

I read that she was a retired Navy officer. When I saw her retired grade (lieutenant commander), I wondered if she had been enlisted (she had) and where she got her degree (U. of New Mexico).

So why post it in this forum? Turns out she had an MBA from Kensington University. That degree caused her some trouble (of a public nature). She was appointed by President Bush to the "National Commission of Presidential Scholars," (oh, the irony!) but resigned when the information about her unaccredited MBA got out. (Boom!)

The people of Florida either didn't know or didn't care and elected her Lt Governor. Now this. I guess her Kensington MBA program didn't have an ethics course, nor the other one she subsequently earned from (regionally accredited) St Leo College. Oh, well.
