    This is great news

    Reaffirmation of Accreditation

I am very happy to report to the Trident community that we received notification today from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) that our accreditation has been reaffirmed.

Since June 2011, when TUI was placed on public sanction for not meeting two WASC standards, we have worked tirelessly to correct the cited concerns and to strengthen all areas of the University to the benefit of our students. We are a much stronger University as a result, and our very best years are ahead of us.

Please click here to read the WASC Commission letter which provides considerable detail of their assessment of Trident today.

Through this 20 month period, our faculty, staff, Board of Trustees, alumni, and students have not only stood by us, but also worked collaboratively on all fronts to have WASC reaffirm our accreditation. Indeed, good work does take a village.

I am enormously grateful to all of you and very proud of Trident University International. If you have any questions, please know you can email me at [email protected] and I will respond as quickly as possible.

This is good news for Trident. In reading WASC's letter, there are mentions of students that graduated without having completed their general ed requirements and that these students are given an opportunity for remediation -- does this mean that the students get their decrees revoked until they go back and take a bunch of classes that were missed?
