    Hello!
IAm new here! I would like to share my experience and give me some advice if someone face the same or similar problem.
Well, i have register to studera and i applied for fall 2011 in master program.
I am in last term of my bachelor studies in business administration and i will graduate from America University with 180 credits, plus i have at least 5 year work experience.
It is important to mention that i have 80 transfer credits from Institute of Vocational Training in Greece.
My problem is that from studera informed me that they don’t recognize 80 transfer credits and if i want an exemption i have to discuses it directly with university.
So i am wondering if someone else face the same problem? And what i have to do in order to gain credits which are recognized in sweden?
And really i cannot understand how will have a bachelor degree 180 credits in which 80 credits (that have been trasfered) are not recognized.
    Any advice?

I have no experience in foreign colleges. But I have a question. Are you referring to "America University." or University in America? If so, what school you're graduating from? And why the school has accreditation issue?

Questions involving transfer or acceptance of credits from one country, used in another country, are often dealt with by private organizations called Credential Evaluation Services. They are experts at determining the equivalency of work (like your training in Greece) in the academic context of other countries. The trade organization for these services is NACES, the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, NACES® - The Standard of Excellence for Credential Evaluation Services. Among the oldest and most popular members are World Education Services in New York, and Educational Credential Evaluators in Wisconsin.

And I share Tekman's question about your university. I am not familiar with a school called America University, nor can I find this name in my reference materials. Can you confirm the name, and provide either a website or a location?

Many schools will not accept vocational credits deeming them not academic.

I too have never heard of America University
