Evaluation of UK course to US College

Not sure the best place to post this question. I have studied and qualified as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I did the Professional Management Foundation Programme. I am now wanting to go to college in the USA, and need to find out what this may be equivilent to here or get me credits. Any ideas would be great.

Each USA college or university uses one of several evaluation services. I had educational qualifications from two UK colleges, and when I enrolled at excelsior College they directed me to a specific evaluation service . My UK qualifications were converted to semester hours and went a long way toward fulfilling my BS degree requirements.

 

The trade organization for the evaluation services is NACES (NACES® - The Standard of Excellence for Credential Evaluation Services). About 20 members. Not all schools require a specific one, but be sure to stay with their members. There are lots of others that are less than wonderful. Indeed, if you enter "naces.com" by mistake, you are taken to the site of one of the non-wonderful ones.

Research that I did a dozen years ago found, annoyingly, that the reputable services do not always agree. A man with a somewhat unusual set of credentials (on-line Scottish MBA, several UK and South American and Canadian credentials) applied to about ten services, and, while there was much agreement, there were some significant disagreements.
