Some time ago I mentioned to a professor of my aquaintance that I had had a book published and he suggested that it might be possible to gain credits for this towards an academic qualification.

Since then I have also published a 'dissertation type' document which has received some encouraging comments from academics that have read it.

Unfortunately I am unable to find any seat of learning that will grant credits for such work.
