The following is a list of regionally accredited schools and programs that say they will accept nationally accredited bachelor's degrees for graduate study. There are also a couple Ed.S. programs that accept NA master's degrees. I compiled this list entirely using web-based search engines. I have not personally contacted any of these schools. Also, please note that not all of these schools or programs are distance learning based - some are on campus programs which I did not separate out.

The list includes those schools that stated they would accept "regionally or nationally accredited" degrees, and those that said that CHEA or U.S. Department of Education recognized degrees are acceptable. A few schools on this list have unusual wording which sounds like they may consider NA degrees. Some have limitations for other levels of accreditation, such as provisional acceptance for degrees without ABET accreditation.

I included links to the graduate admission requirements page for each school. Some of them are for specific programs, which I have noted. Probably some of these won't actually accept NA degrees even though they say they do. Also, I found lots more schools which said they accept NA transfer credit, but I didn't include those. I'm sure I have made some errors too.

I know this list is small relative to the total number of schools out there. But I'm sure there are plenty more out there that will accept NA degrees, so hopefully we can add to it.

I suspect that "will" is in reality a "may."

I also suspect that acceptability of an NA degree may vary between departments at a given school.

    Thanks for the info...

You can add UNA, University of North Alabama to the list...

I am military and get paid a fixed amount per month for school using the old GI Bill, thus I'm looking for the best balance of costs including the off chance if books are included and how easy they are which can be broken into make sub-categories...Some may be entirely self paced while others mandate daily assignments...Also some may require a thesis while others do not...

Ashford University allows NA degrees for entry into their master's programs: "Must have a regionally or approved nationally accredited bachelor's degree with minimum 2.0 GPA."
ex: Ashford University – Master of Business Administration Details

They also allow transfer of NA undergrad credits towards their bachelors degrees: "Transfer your credits from regionally or approved nationally accredited institutions to Ashford University. You can transfer up to 99 approved credits from appropriately accredited institutions. Use these credits to satisfy requirements in your Bachelor's program."
