We're really not interested in posting links to degree mills. It just increases their footprint on the web when they're linked to us. Sorry for messing up your post.

    What is the name?

No need to add their link - we can search the web. What is the name of this mill you have found?

I originally meant another school when I first posted and then noticed that there was already a thread about the school on this forum. In the meantime, my link was removed.

The other school was Chai University.

I just found this other British Canadian school and thought that is was another mill so I updated this thread to add the new college but I guess I was mistaken. Happy to know that the Canadian school is not a mill.

However, based on the conclusion of the other thread on this forum about the original school, it is almost certain that Chai University was a mill.

Winston? Standard procedure for Canadian Career schools...

    Hi -

As I live in Canada, I thought this might be appropriate:

Winston's site looks like it's a normal "Career College," as we call them here. It is not a degree-granting school (certificates and diplomas only) and this type of school IS allowed to use the word "college" in its name.

In the province where I live (Ontario), there is oversight (and inspection) from a Provincial Government Ministry. The school/college must adhere to licensing and bonding requirements. I'm sure the B.C. requirements are likely much the same.

    Looks 100% OK from here...

    Another interesting difference...

    Hi

Quite a few American-based schools operate as "career colleges" in my home province - Herzing Institute and Everest College, for two examples.

One difference - they cannot (and do not) offer associate (or any) degree programs here, as they can in the U.S. - No authority to do so. Diplomas only, here.

Thanks for explaining that, I was unfamiliar with the concept of a career college or even that some American colleges operate as career colleges in Canada.
