    This one worked for me

Most universities have clear policies regarding such matters. Typically, conditions and deadlines are specified. Is it possible that you have not met those conditions/deadlines?

    sorry about the link

sorry guys...it was mistake in typing...it would be www.euruni.edu...

every university has their own refund policy...but this university doesnt have it..after admission, i paid them deposits and tution fees...when the visa was denied, i contacted them for the refund, as previously they mentioned that they will refund if the visa is denied...but i didnt get any good response from them...they made it delay for last 2/3 years...they didnt even reply to my mails...

at last i was in contact with the director and he told me that, they dont refund any money...they dont have any refund policy...but i have all necessary documents, where they have promised to refund...i asked the director to inform me about the reasons for not refunding...he didnt have any answer...he just told that, they never refund any money....

now, i am looking for a way to fight with them...cause it was a handsome amount of money...and i face many problems for that....

can anyone suggest me to do something..??...i really need some good suggestions....

The simplest thing to do is to spend some time writing up the whole affair. Include as many details as possible including your attempts to obtain the refund, responses from the school, etc. Then begin a letter-writing campaign. The school has an Advisory board and it also has a relatively large set of corporate affiliates. Each should get a copy of the letter with a request to assist you in your effort. This will only cost you a little time and some postage. Beyond that I would guess that you might find yourself having to obtain the services of an attorney.

There is a swiss federation of private schools, they might be able to assist you:

    Fédération suisse des écoles privées
    Hotelgasse 1
    Postfach 316
    CH-3000 Berne 7
    Tél. +41 (0) 31 328 40 50
    Fax +41 (0) 31 328 40 55
    E-mail [email protected]

You could also try contacting the swiss embassy...

    EU Statement:
European University (EU) is one of the world's top business schools recognized for the excellence of its students and faculty.

Me: If that case why have I never heard of them? Has anyone else heard of them?

Nope and usually the world's top business schools have AACSB accreditation.

I just reread this post. If it's not in writing, on their website, in an email, on a piece of paper, etc. then it's not the case. If someone said something on the phone and you didn't get it in writing then you're now getting a sort of education that you didn't actually expect/want. I'm sorry.

thank you very much guys for your reply and msgs...

I wrote a mail to the swiss private school authority, and waiting if they reply me.

i have all the mails, where there officials wrote me about the refund. But when they stopped replying me and adviced to contact with the director, i mailed with him with all the documents and he never replied. i called him few times and he told me the same thing that, they will not refund...I was trying to get something written from them...but they didnt write me anything...i just have the recorded phone conversation, where he denys to make refund...

i really need the money back, and this is why i must have to find some ways regarding that...

Don't count on the embassy. They have no jurisdiction and probably have bigger fish to fry. I'm sorry to be the one to say it but your money is gone. You won't get it back. Typically there are written policies on such matters and students sign them as a part of the enrollment process. If you never signed a written statement regarding refunds then there is no refund. I don't know anything about this school but I'll have a hard time thinking of them as being legitimate if they handle matters in this way.

thanks for the advice...i also thought hard about the money..there is a least possibility to have it back..but i am just trying to have a try for it..and there was no written contract about the refund...just they sent their documents that, they will do it...but now refusing to refund, but they have no reason not to do so...they should show a reason, isnt it..??..

nobody earns money to give someone for nothing..just wanna hear somthing from them...

i would be helpful with ur advices...

I don't blame you for trying to get your money back. I'd do the same thing. Their lack of a refund policy isn't an oversight, it's a deliberate ripoff. I hope that people reading this thread remember this school and are careful in any dealings they might have with them.

    hi all...

i am here with a reply from the "Association of Private Schools of Geneva (AGEP)..Someone from there was kind to know my problem and was in contact with the President of the university (who refused to refund)..here is the reply...

    "Dear Mr....

In the meantime Mr Craen confirmed us that the contract was signed with the school of Barcelona and not with the European school of Geneva (member of AGEP) or any other EU in Switzerland. It means that our association has no competence to treat this problem.
Mr Craen wrote us that the problem is been examined in Barcelona. You have to adress yourself to an organisation in Spain if it is not possible you have no answer.

I am sorry that we cannot give you an other answer. "

anyone knows any organisation to contact in spain about the problem..??..i m looking for such in internet...

    thank you..
