At first I thought she might be joking....then I read her "about" link. I don't know about Dairy Queen Corporation, but since she is using the degrees to advance into upper level management- she will probably be discovered. Had she been happy as a worker bee, she probably could have remained anonymous for ever. (except for the web page....bad idea if you want to remain hidden behind this charade)

I think she is ( I could be way off) trying to prove which of these schools are valid. I like the fact that she is posting these results for it shows what actually happens when you correspond with entities such as these. Maybe I am wrong.

This is what leads me to the conclusion I have.

QUESTION: Madison - what do I do if I am interviewing for a job and they ask me how I got my degree? Do I lie to them and tell them I went to one of these schools and attended in person or do I simply tell the truth and then fear losing the job or getting laughed at? Thanks, Al

ANSWER: This an excellent question. I have been asked this many times before. I have always felt that honesty is best when representing your Life Experience degree, BUT there is another interesting take on this. Check out the answer to this question on the About Life Experience Degrees website. (Hey texasprime -- thanks for the plug!)

    Just my take.

That link says that the "big 3" offer life experience degrees. That's not true, but you can get credit for prior learning through a PLA- but that is in a specific course, not through life experience.

I saw this site a while back and thought it may have been just another angle by which the life experience crowd may be pushing their product.
