Out of curiousity, have any of you heard or read anything about Lacrosse U in MS being in the news? When you click on Request Information, it comes up that they are at their student/faculty capacity. Usually this indicates something else is going on and its not on the up and up. And, they continue to list Accreditation with the ADLP/NAHE which appears not to exist anymore.

    BTW -- Happy Thanksgiving

    DIPLOMA MILL!

Haven't heard about it in the news lately, but it moved to Mississippi after being kicked out of Louisiana. To the best of my knowledgd, ADLP was never recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the CHEA as being an acceptable accreditation granting authority.

In any case, if you want to check out a particular school, go to www.chea.org and search the institutions. If the school isn't in their database, you can be at least 95% sure it's a mill.

Last thing I saw was in The Chronicle: 6/25/2004: Psst. Wanna Buy a Ph.D.?

Seems to be alive and well as far as I know

I know it's a mill. I was just curious if it was being forced to stop selling degrees in Mississippi because of the "we are not admitting students at this time" statement. The ADLP was a pitiful thing. It doesn't appear to exist anymore.

BTW, did you know that Columbus still has a corporate document with the Lousiana Secretary of State's Office. I thought that state forced them out. ????????

    Thanks
    for your replies.
