For-profit colleges and state officials fight...

    Big surprise, this is article mostly centers on UOP. It does not make very much sense when they say that "most for profit schools are not regionally accredited" and then centers on one who has he been RA since 78.

    "She called for tougher regulation that would require for-profit colleges to tell students when their credits will or will not transfer to other institutions. She also said that the lack of agreement on the 2003 law has created apparent exemptions because the bureau doesn’t enforce the rules."

    That is a bunch of crap, no school (RA or NA) can guarantee transfer of credit, it's completely up to the recieving institution. That rule could cause potentially thousands of lawsuits.
