Cathedral Bible College in Myrtle Beach, SC

    I am wondering if anyone has heard of Cathedral Bible College, which operates on the former Myrtle Beach (SC) Air Force Base. I am trying to determine the educational credibility of this school, if any. Also interested if anyone has any information about the school's president, named Dr. R. Wayne Miller.

    TRANSFER OF CREDITS:

    CBC is a Bible-believing, Bible-training school. The curriculum is designed for maximum benefit to those who complete the full course of college training and put it to work, not for transfer elsewhere. However, we have had other colleges and universities accept credits from Cathedral.

    CBC will accept credits earned from other post-secondary schools when the credits correspond to courses currently offered at CBC.

    Not sure what to believe

    This doesn't mean it's not legitimate, but it's not listed as accredited by any of the accreditors on the CHEA site, even the Christian ones like TRACS, ATS, and ABHE. As far as its president, I found this uncomplimentary forum thread about him. On the other hand, I don't know his detractors any better than I know him, so I have no idea what to believe.

    I guess if I were in your situation, I'd beware but not close the door altogether.
