California SB 1544

    Regarding California's Senate Bill 1544...

    Does this mean that an institution that has programs for under $500 is automatically exempt?

    Evidently, and that raises the question whether it's legal to operate mills from there so long as they don't charge more than $499.99 for their "credentials".

    Hmm, maybe time to go register me a domain name.... ;)

    If i'm not mistaken the law is not for degree granting institutions. It is more for seminar-type training. But the way it looks in the link it seems broader than that.

    If there's any other documentation or if someone knows the extent of this bill please post.
