    Keep the government out of the accreditation issue. Period. Government always screws things up.

    If the Federal government's "Department of Education" takes over a national accreditation system, it will be much worse. Most of us don't like the DoE as it is now and the thought of them "taking over" the accreditation of private and state schools is disgusting. < shudder >

    I agree; this is no place for the Department of Education or any other government entity. It ain't broke, don't fix it.

    I doubt this will actually go anywhere, though.
