I was assigned a proposal with the title:

    What is quality accreditation?
Comparison between quality accreditation and ISO 9001 - QMS certification for universities.
How to integrate Accreditation and ISO 9001: 2000.

I would like to call for all of your helps. If you have any ideas or comments or materials, please let me know.

This proposal is a part of Vietnam efforts to improve the quality. The sponsor is Ministry of Education.
If you have any comments, please help me.

European Computer Society claims that they are ISO certified/accredited.

the problem is that they are selling IT certifications for no work
    required.

This demonstrates to me either they are in violation of ISO certification or that ISO certification in their case is meaningless.

ISO 9000 is a standard that I understand grew out of a desire during WWII to make sure that manufacturing done for the military in the UK would be consistent. It concentrates on making sure that processes are defined and that they are consistently followed. You could theoretically have a bank robbing gang that documents their bank robbing process and that consistently followed that process pass ISO 9000.
