Or perhaps these are simply the ones that are most easily discovered.

or maybe they are the ones who spend lots of time on long flights, reading the back pages of the 'Economist' magazine!

John: This week's Economist is the first one in a very long time without a Rushmore University (or indeed any other dreadful school) advertisement. Dare we hope?

Alas, my copy (international not US edition) has a lovely University of Northern Washington ad lurking at the foot of page 116.

Here's some interesting legal links regarding UNW....

Are they out of business or what? Looks like the injunction only keeps them from handing out JD's.... and a settlement for only one student who complained.

It would seem that they did more than simply read those ads.

An overlap of threads, but here is what I see on Northern Washington.

Despite being evicted from 2 states, (Hawaii involuntarily dissolved their corporation, which had no real physical location. The listed university address was a mail forwarding service), they seem to be doing just fine with no mailing address, no phone number, no faculty, no course listings, no problem.

"Alumni" seem to be getting along just fine also. John Hogan, Director of Education and Cultural Diversity for Best Western International claims an MBA from UNW and says he is working on his Phd (Any bets where?).

Ironically, he even writes about job descriptions, which of course, seem a little vague in the education section.
