The "Westmore University" URL is http://www.westmorecollege.org/ and it claims accreditation from the International Online Accreditation Association (IOAA). IOAA reports that it accredits the following: *Westmore College *Lacroix University *Pennington School of Business *Preston State College *Dickson Central College *Lexington International Institute *Taft University The cost for a degree ranges from $400 for a high school degree to $1500 for a PhD. There are no faculty named on the site as far as I can tell. Nice graphics-- Domain registration info: IP = 202.157.191.54 That range of IP addresses appears to be managed from Singapore: person: Indra Pramana address: Webvisions Pte Ltd address: 75 Science Park Drive address: #02-06/08 Cintech II address: Singapore Science Park I address: Singapore 118255 The domain registration is done through a privacy service, generally a bad sign for a "university."
I love the fact that you can add degrees to your shopping cart and pay with PayPal. Oh, and the volume discount.
All they need is to offer International Driver Licenses and accreditation from the Republic of the Congo and it can be complete!
I wonder which one of the schools created the IOAA Here is the e-mail address that comes up under the "contact us" section on the IOAA website hmm.... [email protected] Westmore does have a flashy website This part of their site is the funniest, it's obvious that someone who buys a degree from them is completely ignorant to "the facts" http://www.westmorecollege.org/knowthefacts.htm
it's not Blenheim Palace, but almost On this Westmore page is a picture of students in front of building whose frieze identifies it as "Ed Landreth Hall." That building is actually on the campus of Texas Christian University. The university's School of Music is there.
Less is Westmore Yeah OK but the students belong to Westmore! Man I must say you diploma mill guys are always so suspicious!
Carrying FWD's silliness on to the next step. TCU is just an "and" away from TC&U. Trinity College and University is a well known diploma mill. Therefore, Texas Christian University must be running diploma mills on the side!
