Interestingly, I couldn't find anything on the school's website regarding staff and faculty qualifications. I found her in the phone listing, but that's all.

The president of the college, a Dr. Gallon, has a legitimate doctorate from U of Florida. Could it be he hired her without knowing she claimed a doctorate at all? If so, what is a campus provost doing serving without one? If not, why'd he (or they) do it? Weird.

Remember that we need to distinguish the real Hamilton College in New York from the depressing Unding we encounter in our usual run of things here.

 

Similarly take a look at the credentials of the chairperson of the master of family therapy program at Southern Connecticut State University. His doctorate is also from an unaccredited school. SCSU is a good school.

Florida's licensing of unaccredited schools, which Heed possesses, is considerably more substantial than that found in other states.

Heed has been around for 30 years. When alternative doctoral programs were rare, and accredited options almost non-existent, Heed was one of the few operating credible programs.

 

Compared to today's standards, Heed's programs look rather bogus, but I see what you mean. Twenty or thirty years ago it may have been one of the only alternative doctoral programs available.

 

Higher Ed is a refuge for dubious PhD's, have been seeing alot of Kennedy-Western "graduates" lately.
