The SRU folks are, if anything, persistent.

The AdvancedU.org site is still up and running, and is presently titled "The only legitimate Source for ACCREDITED College Degree and High School Diploma Programs. Graduate in just days!"

The first two link on the left side of the page are Q&A format blurbs:
The domain registration is still full of connections to Spokane manifestations.

I like the apparent link to Regis University, although they hid it by tinyurl and have it redirect to regis-university.search4careercolleges.com.

    spyware from St. Regis

The AdvancedU.org site points into a discussion forum with URL http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=67349.

That discussion forum site loads spyware in the form of four data miner/tracking cookies into the computers of visitors.

If you're interested, the bad cookies are atdmt, doubleclick, fastclick, and maxserving.

You'll need to run an anti-spyware program after visiting.

even more spyware, and "Ed" expresses irritation

I am happy to report that the AdvancedU.org site is now titled "Distance Learning News!"

It is still presenting a link to the "Ask Ed" forum.

The Ask Ed forum now loads five pieces of spyware, with the inclusion of the additional tracking cookie "trafficmp" in the earlier list of four data miners.

I suppose one might say that the forum is heavily moderated. Here is what was present last night...
As of this morning, the last two posts have been deleted.

There's a new thread, in addiiton to the new tracking cookie, presented by the site:
I just love that "hateful and nasty" phrase.

Just to be sure we know who we're talking about, see this 2001"Accelerated Degree Program - Watch Out!" thread. For the historians among us, it contains a list of pre-St. Regis goatbags coming out of the inland northwest.

Thanks for the delicious details. I really got a kick out of it.

"Ed" would be describing himself perfectly if only he added something in addition about dishonesty and fraudulent behavior.

Now, now, George(s). You'll upset some nice folks around here who are angry at the wrong people.

"the likes of you and your kind"

Yowie, Janko, it sounds like a Dylan song, maybe Motorpsycho Nightmare, doesn't it? Perhaps Alice's Restauarant is a better match.

I gotta tell you, anyone who has such a blindingly doltish misunderstanding of gefilte fish as those Ed-ish affiliates must never have been paying attention in Diversity Class.

And the "you and your kind" phrase? Could that be code for Something Too Crass To Post? (But do see MiltaryForums.)

Yes. They started their businesses again

    Dear All,
You may criticize me, but I will accept all your criticisms as good advices for me.

    Yes. I am back.

I have seen the St Regis guys in India had started their businesses again. They issued notices stating that "Students can obtain recognized degrees from Seborga".

Just I found a small difference. They have not mentioned any URL. It looks like they are planning to do business offline alone (through associates...)

    Any thoughts?

Sure. I have a thought. I think you helped them set up their new web sites and businesses.....

    I don't understand

I don't understand why you are accusing me now and pointing me for the things what I have not done.

How can you say that I helped them to set up businesses or websites? Can you prove?

Please don't say about a thing which you didn't even know.

I am not saying that I was right. What I am saying is I am right and I will be right.

  12. Re: I don't understand

You were asking for "thoughts", and that's what I "think". I'm not aware of any requirement to prove or provide evidence for casual thoughts. It's just a "gut feeling" kind of thing going on here combined with the fact that past performance/behavior is a prime indicator of future performance/behavior.

    I understood

    Yes. I understood your thoughts.

But please understand that "Nobody was perfect, Nobody is perfect and Nobody will be perfect"

Nobody is perfect on all the times, including YOU.

If anyone is perfect on all the times, he/she is not a human, he/she will be the GOD.

So please understand....including me and you....nobody is perfect in all the times...

Just think over and please let me know your thoughts.

I will answer for everyone...I will not run away.

  14. Perfect imitation...

One thing is certain - your response above is a perfect imitation of the same writing style that Lerner uses here.

Oh God. Again you started comparing me and Lerner.

Okay. Please let me contribute something good to the Distance Education field.

  18. Imaginary friends....

I've finally got it! "Lerner" is actually Azad's imaginary friend, and they are having a nice conversation with themselves on this thread! Too bad it is the same author, but then that's what imaginary friends are all about anyway.
