The Center for Quality Assurance in International Education, located at the National Center for Higher Education in Washington, DC, is a collaborative activity of the higher education and quality and competency assurance communities both within the United States and between the United States and other country associations concerned with issues of quality and fairness in international academic and professional mobility, credentialing and recognition. THE CENTER facilitates the comparative study of national quality and competency assurance mechanisms to improve efforts within countries and promote mobility among national systems. To these ends, THE CENTER's activities fall into three categories:

Assisting countries in the development or enhancement of quality assurance systems for higher education
Promoting the globalization of the professions; and
Monitoring issues of quality in the transnational movement of higher education

This organization shares information and trains other countries on issues of QA in Education.

They are also involved in accreditation of teacher education via
NCATE - the profession’s mechanism to help establish high quality teacher preparation.

So, do you just sit around and think to yourself, "Hmm. What can I post next?" and then just post the first thing that you come across, regardless whether it would actually be of interest to anyone?

Once again we have another one of your knuckleheaded posts that tells us something we all pretty much already knew about, but doesn't then ask a question about it, or ask for opinions about it or anything. You promised you'd stop doing stuff like this. Then again, you've promised all kinds of stuff around here, and then turned around and gone back on it before the smell of your breath from said promise had even cleared the room... so why am I not surprised.

At long last, is there actually a point to your post, Lerner? After everything that's been written to you around here, how does it escape you over and over and over and over again that a post needs to have a damned POINT?!? What, fine sir, is yours here?

    (Oy... this guy... )

    Lerner,

Fascinating! I was unaware of this relevant, intriguing organization. Thank you for posting such an interesting link.
