    Hi guys,

I have a question about the transfer of credits.

Is it possible for a Regionally accredited college to accept credits from a non-regionally accredited college ?

Say for example, a student attends a college that is accredited by the Accrediting council for independent colleges and schools (ACICS) or another accrediting agency and then wants to transfer to a Regionally accredited college.

Is it "cut-and-dry", that there's absolutely no way the Reg. accredited college will accept any of these credits ??

Or does each Reg. accredited college, have different policies as to what and how many of these credits they will or won't accept ??

    Much appreciated.........Freddie

I think that you need to find if American Council of Education reviewed your classes, some RA
universities have the ACE book and if your clases been reviewed than you have a chance.

Also check with Universities such as WGU, they hold mulitiple accreditation, NA and RA so they maybe able to make this transfer for you.

How long ego and how fresh is the material in your memory.
You may want to test out - ie, GRE etc and get the credit via EC, TEC etc.
