    They have RA and PA accreditation.
    Can some one explain the statement - accredited by the State of California Board of Education.

    Accreditation
    Alliant International University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the US Department of Education.
    ==========================
    The education programs offered on the Scripps Ranch Campus are accredited by the State of California Board of Education.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Credential programs offered by the Alliant School of Education are approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

    Psychology programs offered by the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) at Alliant are also covered by special accreditation. Four clinical psychology PhD programs and four clinical psychology PsyD clinical programs offered on the Fresno, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco Bay campuses are separately accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).

    Alliant's MA program and PsyD programs in Marital and Family Therapy, offered in San Diego and Irvine, are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. The master's program is one of only four COAMFTE accredited programs in California and the doctoral program is the only accredited MFT doctoral program in California and the first COAMFTE-accredited PsyD program in the country.

    That is peculiar, since the California State Board of Education is not an accrediting body. Someone at Alliant must not know the difference between authorized, approved and accredited.

    I don't know about that but I took all my CLEP exams there. California Pacific used to be across the freeway. There must be more colleges on the I-8,I-15 intersecting corridor than anywhere w/USD, San Diego
    State,UOP,National,Redlands,Remington,
    Azusa,Alliant and a few more lining the freeway.

    As discussed in another thread, it seems NO use value for a state approved degree in USA!
